Management Team

Abraham Ekperusi, Chief Executive Officer
Abraham Ekperusi is the CEO of Ecoverse Integrated Limited. He is a researcher and consultant in the field of environmental management, public health and sustainable development. His expertise includes impact assessment, environmental auditing, pollution assessment and monitoring, remediation of contaminated environment, etc. He had his first degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Benin with second upper division and M.Sc. in Environmental Quality Management with distinction from the same university. He has written two books, published several articles in local and international journals and has made presentations in local, regional and international conferences and seminars. He is a member of several local and international scientific associations such as the Nigerian Society for Conservation Biology, Nigerian Tropical Biology Association, Entomological Society of Nigeria, the global Bioremediation Discussion Group, British Ecological Society, Society for Conservation Biology, United States, Society for Ecological Restoration, United States and the International Society for Environmental Information Science, Canada. He is also a member of the Commission on Ecosystem Management, International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN). He is also a manuscript reviewer for several leading publishers including Springer, Academic Journals, Elsevier, Jordan Journals, Acta Biologica, etc in the areas of environmental sciences and management. He holds different certifications from different fields and institution. They include; Diploma in Project Management, Management Strategies for People and Resources, Academic Writing/Manuscript Preparation and Editing, Climate Change, etc. He has assisted in planning and designing over ten postgraduate thesis, three undergraduate projects and over thirty seminars and conference presentations. He has participated in several projects and studies such as environmental impact assessment studies, post-impact and public health studies, biodiversity assessment, etc. He is presently a PhD Fellow at the World Bank African Centre of Excellence, Centre for Oilfield Chemicals Research, Institute of Petroleum Studies, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria

Omesiri Hannah Ileleji, Secretary
Omesiri Ileleji is the Secretary for Ecoverse Integrated Limited in the administration of the day to day activities of the firm and acts as Programme Officer during project implementation and execution. She is a results-oriented self-starter, recognized for proactive initiative, flexibility and meeting deadlines while working within a fast-paced environment. She graduated with a B.Sc. in Plant Biology and Biotechnology and M.Sc. in Environmental Quality Management both from the University of Benin, Benin City. Prior to joining Ecoverse, she was formerly Quality Control Officer, Programme Anchor, Customer Care and Administrative Assistant in several organizations in Lagos State, Nigeria. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Ecoverse Integrated Limited.

Johnny Rotimi, PhD
Johnny Rotimi is a professor of environmental entomology and pollution studies at the Department of Animal and Environmental Biology, Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Benin, Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria. He is an academic staff in the university since 1997 where he rose steadily from assistant lecturer to full professor. He has supervised several undergraduate and postgraduate (masters and doctorate) students since 2000. He has held several key positions in the university and outside the university. He has over thirty publications in local and international journals, attend several training and conferences and he is a member of several scientific associations. He has conducted research for the oil and gas sector on the impact and risk assessment of chemicals (Corexit) for cleaning crude oil spill on terrestrial biodiversity especially invertebrates in soil and sediments. He was a member of the University of Benin Environmental Consultancy Services from 1989 – 1990 and has been part of several environmental studies for NPDC, NNPC and Shell since 1990. He is a member of the board of Ecoverse Integrated Limited.
